About Fargo Moorhead Camera Club

Meetings are held twice monthly beginning in September and continuing through May. The first meeting of each month consists of a contest or salon held on the first Thursday.

Members submit entries according to the club rules published on the website. The entries are judged prior to the meeting and the judge critiques the photographs and gives educational comments as the entries are shown at the meeting.

The second meeting of each month is held on the third Thursday and consists of an instructional program, hands-on shooting session, or a presentation.

Meetings are held at the First Presbyterian Church basement across from the downtown Fargo Post Office(MAP) (enter on the west side). The principal goal of the club is to help its members improve their photographic skills through educational activities and competition. The competition serves to challenge us to try various subjects and techniques. The recent emphasis on digital cameras and techniques has created a need and opportunity for education and experience.

New members are helped and encouraged by others and there is an atmosphere of fun and fellowship. Visitors are always welcome at all meetings and activities. Please see our Membership page for additional information.
